Terms of Service

By accessing or using Roadaoke (the "App") or the roadaoke.com website (the "Website"), provided by Roadaoke ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App or Website.

Your safety is the absolute priority. Roadaoke is designed for passenger entertainment and glanceable song lyrics. As the driver of a motor vehicle, you are solely responsible for driving safely and obeying all applicable traffic laws and road regulations.

Never interact with, touch, or configure your iPhone or vehicle display while operating a vehicle. Configure all settings, playlists, and sessions before starting your trip. Roadaoke assumes no liability for accidents, traffic violations, fines, injuries, or damages resulting from improper or distracted driving.

Roadaoke interfaces with Spotify (via the official Spotify iOS SDK and Web API) and Apple Music (via iOS Media Player APIs). You require your own valid account or subscription with these services to stream music.

Roadaoke is an independent application. It is not sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with Spotify AB or Apple Inc. Apple, CarPlay, and Apple Music are trademarks of Apple Inc. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB.

Synchronized lyrics displayed in the app are retrieved from third-party community sources (including LRCLIB and public lyrics directories). We do not host, license, or claim ownership over any lyrics or copyrighted musical compositions, and we cannot guarantee that lyrics are always available, complete, or error-free.

Roadaoke is free to download with daily limits on singing sessions. You may upgrade to Roadaoke Pro via an in-app purchase to remove daily limits.

All in-app purchases are processed directly by Apple through the App Store. Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions apply to all payment transactions, billing, taxes, Family Sharing, and refund requests.

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

All intellectual property rights in the software code, interface design, graphics, branding, and documentation of Roadaoke belong to Roadaoke. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or redistribute the App.

The App and Website are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or compatible with every vehicle head unit or future iOS release.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roadaoke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or vehicle damage arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When updated, the revised date will be displayed at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
